Introduction #Week 2
I'm currently a CIS student at LCCC going for my associates degree. My goal is to transfer to Penn state for a bachelors degree in computer science. Computers are a big part of our life nowadays and since I was a kid I wanted to work with computers. I’m 26 years old and just started my college journey. I chose to travel and work instead of going to school for a couple of years. I gained a lot of life experiences this way and my friends say I could write a book about my journeys, well here I am trying out a blog! Growing up in the Dominican Republic, we didn’t have very much but life was great, I loved it and see it as my home. I love the ocean and nature itself. When I got older I moved to Germany and that’s where my interest for computers & languages came from, my father. Because of him I’m now fluent in three languages those being English, Spanish and German but interested in so many more like Arabic or Russian. You can tell I’m passionate about languages, cultures and arts ☺ A few years ago I decided my time in Europe was done I seen most of it and it wasn’t were I wanted to set my roots, so it was time for me to return to USA, travel some more and work around.I've had multiple jobs and different experiences. You can say I'm eager to learn new things and try things out. I visited a lot of states and enjoyed every one of them. But Pennsylvania & Colorado won my heart. Especially since I did actually met and fell in love with my fiancé here in PA. I chose PA because of it’s nature and outdoors and northeast Pennsylvania has a lot of that to offer so I'm settling down here. It has also inspired me to continue with my arts and crafts and it has been years since I felt inspired. I'm usually very passionate about what I do or interested in.
I’ve had some health issues that I needed to overcome and now I’m here to help and maybe inspire others. I’m planning on sharing stories and creations hoping to motivate others and well myself too 😁
It’s never too late to start!
